Snapseed Revisited

August 11, 2017

A few weeks ago I did a short blog post about the free, amazing photo editing app called Snapseed. I’m hoping you’ll download it and try it out. Also, I’ve done a video walkthrough of a Snapseed edit. You can see that here.

Today, I wanted to give you an idea of how the various filters in Snapseed  can enhance your iPhone photos in a magical way.

Here’s the original photo… taken while riding along during one of my husband’s golf games.

Here's that photo after being cropped and tuned in Snapseed:

The filters in Snapseed all have numerous presets and sliders that enable you to change, increase or lessen the effect of the filter. So... each filter has many, many variations. These pictures show the above image with the various filters applied... but remember that each filter can be adjusted.

In addition to being able to adjust the individual filters, you can also apply multiple filters to a single image... so the possibilities are endless! If you haven't already downloaded Snapseed, please do (it's free)... and then choose a picture from your camera roll, or take a new photo, and just play. Don't be afraid of making a mistake, because with this app, there's really no such thing! Also, your original image will not be changed, and will still be on your camera roll. Just save your photo with the Snapseed edits as an "Export".

Have fun with this...

See you next time!
